During my studies at the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now UL Lafayette), I took a photography class, and have not put down my camera since. I have made a career of immortalizing that moment. My visions of that moment have put me in some awkward situations - from knee-deep in swamp mud for that shot the bride had dreamed of since she was 10 years old, to lying down on alcohol encrusted reception floors to get the perfect angle, and even refusing to evacuate with a hurricane bearing down on South Louisiana - because I had a bridal shoot! I am very dedicated to photography and to my brides, and I love every minute of it!
Then there is my son, Zachary. . .
He is the largest part of my existence. He makes me laugh (a lot). He makes me cry (a little). But there he is, this little human being looking for guidance. Having the opportunity to pursue my dream job in photography has been an accomplishment, but at the end of the day, my most important accomplishment will be all wrapped-up in my healthy, loving, energetic, compassionate, persistent, clever, strong-willed, reach-for-the-stars, there-he-goes-again little man. Just like his momma!
